The Enchanted Wilds set is upon us, and with it comes a fresh competitive season packed with opportunities for tacticians to prove their skills. Riot Games has unveiled the full competitive structure, from Ladder Snapshots to the Regional Finals. Whether you're a ladder climber or a tournament veteran, here's everything you need to know to compete in this new set.

Ladder Snapshots: Your Ticket to the Big Stage

If climbing the ranked ladder is your game, Ladder Snapshots are your golden ticket. During Enchanted Wilds, five snapshots will be taken on select Tuesdays at 9 PM local time (PT for AMER, CET for EMEA, SGT for APAC). The top 30 players in each region will earn Ranked Ladder Points, which are crucial for qualifying for the Regional Finals.

  • Snapshot Dates: September 8th, 15th, 22nd, October 6th, and 13th.

These snapshots are your chance to turn your ranked grind into a spot in the spotlight. Make sure you're in the top 30 when the clock strikes!

Tactician's Trials: The Path to Glory

Tactician's Trials are the primary entry point for most competitors, offering two five-day tournaments per set. They feature a mix of direct qualifiers from Trials Snapshots and sub-regionals, with plenty of action across multiple days.

Trials Snapshot Allocations

Each Trials Snapshot determines who gets into Day 1 or Day 3 of the Tactician's Trials. Here's the breakdown for both Trials 1 and 2:

  • AMER: Day 1 includes 62 from BR, 26 from LAN, 31 from LAS, and 125 from NA. Day 3 has 15/5/6/26 for BR/LAN/LAS/NA in Trials 1, and 13/4/5/22 in Trials 2.
  • EMEA: Day 1 includes 202 from EUW, 40 from EUNE, and 14 from TR. Day 3 has 46/11/7 for EUW/EUNE/TR in Trials 1, and 41/9/6 in Trials 2.
  • APAC: Day 1 includes 34 from TW, 17 from OCE, 19 from JP, 42 from SEA, and 112 from KR. Day 3 has 11 from VN, 10 from KR, and others in Trials 1, with adjustments in Trials 2.

Sub-regionals also play a role, with AMER offering 4 from BR, 4 from LATAM, and 4 from NA for Day 1 and Day 3. APAC sub-regionals include 30 from VN and 2 from KR for each Trials, plus extras in Trials 2.

Trials Format and Schedule

The Trials follow a rigorous format: Day 1 starts with 256 players, with reseeding every two games. The top 32 advance to Day 2 immediately, while the bottom 32 are eliminated. The remaining 192 play two more games, with the top 96 joining the 32 for Day 2.

Day 2 repeats the process, with the top 16 after four games advancing to Day 3. Day 3 sees 128 players, with the top 16 after four games moving to Day 4. Day 4 narrows it down to 32, and Day 5 is a four-stage battle royale: 32 players play 4 games, then top 24 play 1, top 16 play 1, and the top 8 face off in a final game. All 8 finalists qualify for Week 1 of the Regional Finals.

Trials 1 runs from September 19-20 and 25-27, while Trials 2 is October 10-11 and 16-18. Qualifier Points are earned on Days 4 and 5, with the top 4 point earners after Trials 2 securing spots in the Regional Finals Play-Ins.

TFT Pro Circuit: Tier 1 Competition

The TFT Pro Circuit (TPC) features the top 32 players per region battling for Pro Points and a share of a juicy prize pool. Three cups are scheduled: Riftbeast Cup (September 4-6), Elderwood Cup (September 18-20), and Blossom Cup (October 2-4). The Elderwood Cup is special—it's a cross-region showdown where players are paired and split between home cups.

Each cup follows a three-day format: Day 1 has 32 players in 6 games with Snake Reseeding, advancing the top 24. Day 2 features three stages, culminating in the top 8 moving to Day 3. Day 3 uses a Checkmate format—first to 20 points and a win takes the title and a direct seed to the Tactician's Crown.

Pro Points reward consistency. The top earner in each region qualifies directly to the Tactician's Crown, and the top 4 earners receive bonus prize money. To maintain competitive integrity, all Day 3 players in the third cup earn 4 Pro Points. Final standings are locked after Day 2 of the Blossom Cup.

Regional Finals: The Ultimate Showdown

The Regional Finals span six days, bringing together 64 of the best tacticians per region. Week 1 starts with a Play-ins Phase where 16 players (bottom Pro Points earners, Ranked Ladder Points earners, and top Qualifier Points) compete for 8 spots in the Battle Stage. Day 2 sees 32 players join, with points carrying over to the Elimination Stage on Day 3, which narrows the field to 16 for Week 2.

Week 2 begins with the Battle Stage on Day 4, where the 16 survivors are joined by the top 16 from the TPC. After 6 games, the top 24 advance to Day 5's Elimination Stage, which features three phases to determine the finalists. The champion earns a spot at the Tactician's Crown.
