Riot Games is back with another vibrant celebration of Pride in 2026, marking six years of in-game festivities and nine years of supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Starting May 28, League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics will offer players a wealth of free content, including emotes, icons, homeguard trails, and more. Whether you're diving into the Rift or portaling to the Convergence, there's plenty of prideful fun to be had—and it's all designed to make your gaming experience more inclusive and joyful.
League of Legends: Pride Content Drops with Patch 26.11
League of Legends kicks off Pride with Patch 26.11, running through Patch 26.13. Players can grab two new emotes for just 1 Blue Essence each: one features a trio of champions navigating a teamfight together, and the other shows a rainbow fish waiting to be caught. Returning content from previous years—including homeguard trails, emotes, and icons—will also be available for 1 Blue Essence each.
United Together Mission Offers Battle Pass Boost
A special mission called 'United Together' tasks players with playing three games with a premade team. This mission rewards 500 Battle Pass Experience (BXP) and is only active during the first patch of Pride (26.11). It's a great way to earn extra progress while celebrating with friends.
New emotes: Teamfight trio and rainbow fish (1 Blue Essence each)
Returning icons, homeguard trails, and emotes (1 Blue Essence each)
Returning icons also activate Pride trails for patches 26.11, 26.12, and 26.13
Teamfight Tactics: Shork Emote and Fireworks Booms
Over in TFT, Pride celebrations begin with Patch 17.4 (the TFT equivalent of 26.11) and run until June 30. A new emote called 'Happy Gills' features a flying Shork designed by Queer developers, available in the Rotating Store for 50 Realm Crystals. Returning Pride Booms—fireworks effects that trigger on victory—are also back, and they remain active all year when equipped.
TFT Missions: Stand United and Rainbow Revelry
Two missions are available in TFT. The first, 'Tacticians Stand United,' rewards 50 Realm Crystals for playing a single game. The second, 'Rainbow Revelry,' requires players to equip the 2026 Pride Emote and play a match. This mission actually encompasses multiple sub-missions (like Citrine Celebration, Sapphire Soiree, and more), but they all complete with the same task, granting 50 Realm Crystals and Fireworks Booms.

'Rainbow Revelry' (and variants): Equip Pride Emote and play a match for 50 Realm Crystals and Fireworks Booms
Community and Artist Collaborations
Beyond in-game content, Riot Games is partnering with LGBTQ+ artists for special pieces released throughout June. The company will also participate in the Twitch Pride Guild's tournament, featuring TFT. For broader Riot Games Pride initiatives, check the Riot blog on June 1.
