Riot Games has rolled out League of Legends Patch 26.19, and it's a big one for competitive play. With the Worlds patch just around the corner, the balance team is already making pro-focused adjustments to Summoner's Rift. The goal? Shake up fringe picks, rein in meta outliers, and give top laners a bit more agency through their role quest. Oh, and Nasus is getting hit—again.
Beyond champion tweaks, Riot also shared an update on Team Voice, the long-awaited expansion of party voice chat to the entire team. Originally slated for Patch 26.20 in North America and Oceania, it's now delayed indefinitely. "We've made the call to postpone this a bit to make sure we're hitting the quality bar you deserve," the team explained. No new target patch has been announced, but Riot says it's prioritizing fixes as efficiently as possible.
Top Lane Quest and Pro Play Adjustments
Riot is doubling down on the top lane role quest, which has successfully freed up top laners to skip Teleport. By increasing the map influence of Teleport—whether taken at the start or unlocked via the quest—the team hopes to give the role more power without making it oppressive. This change is part of a broader effort to prepare for Worlds, where fringe picks could see play without becoming disruptive.
Champion Buffs: Aatrox, Aphelios, Aurora, and More
Several champions are getting some love this patch. Aatrox is back on the rise after Sundered Sky nerfs hurt him, with lower W cooldown and increased E healing. Aphelios gets a boost to his entire kit—Calibrum, Severum, Gravitum, Infernum, and Crescendum all see improvements to encourage him to step out of his comfort zone. Aurora's waveclear and ultimate duration are up, while Draven gains base AD to compensate for the bot lane gold income shift.
- Aatrox: W cooldown reduced; E heal ratio increased.
- Aphelios: Calibrum damage up; Severum healing increased; Gravitum slow decay buffed; Infernum cooldown reduced; Crescendum mini-chakram damage up.
- Aurora: E base damage increased; R rift duration increased at early ranks.
- Draven: Base AD increased from 62 to 64.
- Elise: Passive on-hit damage up; W bonus attack speed increased.
- Fiora: Health growth up; R heal range and healing per tick increased.
- Kha'Zix: Passive damage up; evolved W slow duration increased; evolved E range bonus increased.
- Lillia: Base armor up; R sleep duration increased.
- Master Yi: Q cooldown refund no longer scales down with Ability Haste.
- Volibear: Passive attack speed per stack AP ratio up; lightning on-hit now scales with bonus AD.
Champion Nerfs: Nasus, Nocturne, Poppy, Rumble, Ryze, Vi
On the flip side, several champions are getting toned down. Nasus is the headline act—his early stacking is too reliable, so Riot is lowering his Q bonus damage to make him more vulnerable early. Nocturne's ultimate cooldown is up, hitting his map presence and dueling. Poppy's jungle clear is getting reverted to reduce her flex potential. Rumble's overheat attack speed is down, though monster cap is up as compensation for jungle Rumble. Ryze loses some flux bonus damage and pays more mana on E, but gains armor growth. Vi takes a hit to her base AD, AD growth, and shield.
- Nasus: Q bonus damage reduced at all ranks.
- Nocturne: R cooldown increased.
- Poppy: Q minion/monster max health cap reduced.
- Rumble: Passive overheat attack speed lowered; monster cap increased.
- Ryze: Q flux bonus damage reduced; E mana cost increased; armor growth up.
- Vi: Base AD and AD growth adjusted; passive shield reduced.
Item Changes: World Atlas and Runic Compass
Melee supports are getting a shift in power. World Atlas and Runic Compass are swapping flat health for health regeneration, which should benefit melee supports more due to their higher base regen. The goal is to reduce their roaming and all-in dominance while making sustained laning a bit more viable.
Skins and Cosmetics
Coven Janna, Coven Mel, Old God Anivia, and Old God Urgot will be available on September 23, 2026. No word yet on pricing or bundle details, but expect the usual options.
