This July 10–12, the cosmos becomes the battleground as the world’s top TFT players descend upon the Space Gods Tactician’s Crown. After a set filled with fierce competition, unforgettable moments, and champions rising from every corner of the globe, the final showdown is nearly here. 40 elite tacticians will clash for supremacy, chasing glory among the stars and the title of Space Gods Tactician’s Crown Champion. Here are the initial details for TFT’s next global event.
Who’s Competing? The 40-Player Field
The Space Gods Tactician’s Crown features the top 40 players from four competitive regions: AMER, EMEA, APAC, and CN. The seeds are divided into two main categories:
TFT Pro Circuit (13 slots): Includes 11 winners from TPC events across AMER, APAC, CN, and EMEA, plus 2 Pro Points qualified players from EMEA and APAC.
Regional Finals Slots (27 slots): CN gets 8 slots, APAC and AMER each receive 7, and EMEA gets 5.
After three days of high-stakes competition, only one player will claim their place among the stars and become the Space Gods Champion.
Prize Pool: $470K USD Up for Grabs
Players will compete for their share of the $470K USD total prize pool. The exact distribution will be revealed closer to the event, but this substantial pot ensures every game matters.
Event Format: Points, Lobbies, and Elimination
The tournament uses a points-based system where players earn 8 points for first place, 7 for second, and so on down to 1 point for eighth place. The event unfolds over three days:
Day 1 – Round 1
All 40 players are split into 5 starting lobbies via a snake draft selection process. They play 6 games total, with lobbies shuffling every 2 games. After Game 6, the top 32 players advance to Day 2, while the bottom 8 are eliminated.
Day 2 – Rounds 2-5
Lobbies shuffle every 2 games based on Total Points earned across Days 1 and 2. After Round 4, the top 4 players in Total Points advance directly to the Grand Final, while the bottom 4 are eliminated. The 5th-12th place players move on to Round 5.
Day 3 – Grand Final: Checkmate Format
The Grand Final uses the Checkmate Format. The first player to reach 20 points and then secure a first-place finish in a game will be crowned the Space Gods Champion. This high-stakes format rewards both consistency and clutch performance.
