The Streamer Awards 2025 Breaks Records with Over 1 Million Peak Viewers
The Streamer Awards 2025, held recently in Los Angeles, celebrated the top livestreaming talent of the year and broke previous viewership records. The event attracted over 1 million peak viewers and generated more than 5 million hours watched across all broadcasts, nearly doubling the numbers from the 2024 show. Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. won Streamer of the Year for the second consecutive year. QTCinderella, the event’s main organizer and host, pulled the largest audience on her channel with a peak of 207.6K viewers, marking her most popular stream of 2025. Other top streamers included Rani “stableronaldo” Netz and Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart, both surpassing 100K concurrent viewers. Twitch created a dedicated category for The Streamer Awards, which amassed 2.7 million hours watched and ranked as the fourth most-watched category on the platform. However, some streams were mistakenly tagged under other categories like Just Chatting, which may have reduced the official viewership count for the event category.
