Challenger cutoff FAQ

How much LP do you need for Challenger on BR?

You currently need about 2064 LP to reach Challenger on BR (Brazil). The cutoff is the LP of the last player inside the Challenger slots and shifts as the ladder moves.

How is the Challenger cutoff calculated?

Challenger is capped by slots, so we rank every apex player (Challenger, Grandmaster and Master) by League Points using Riot's official League API and read the LP at the Challenger cutoff position. This avoids counting decayed players Riot has not demoted yet. We refresh it every 30 minutes.

Does the Challenger LP cutoff change during the day?

Yes. As players win and lose ranked games the cutoff rises and falls. The 30-day chart on this page shows the trend so you can plan your climb.
