Grandmaster cutoff FAQ

How much LP do you need for Grandmaster on BR?

You currently need about 1385 LP to reach Grandmaster on BR (Brazil). The cutoff is the LP of the last player inside the Grandmaster slots and shifts as the ladder moves.

How is the Grandmaster cutoff calculated?

Grandmaster is capped by slots, so we rank every apex player (Challenger, Grandmaster and Master) by League Points using Riot's official League API and read the LP at the Grandmaster cutoff position. This avoids counting decayed players Riot has not demoted yet. We refresh it every 30 minutes.

Does the Grandmaster LP cutoff change during the day?

Yes. As players win and lose ranked games the cutoff rises and falls. The 30-day chart on this page shows the trend so you can plan your climb.
