Grandmaster is capped by slots, so we rank every apex player (Challenger, Grandmaster and Master) by League Points using Riot's official League API and read the LP at the Grandmaster cutoff position. This avoids counting decayed players Riot has not demoted yet. We refresh it every 30 minutes.
